Volunteer Alberta supports the work of nonprofit organizations through network stewardship and workforce development, and helps them impact urban and rural communities across the province. Through their workshops, webinars, and presentations, you will develop the skills you need for effective volunteer management, including a better understanding of how to recruit, retain, and involve volunteers in your organization.


 

Propellus: The Volunteer Centre of calgary

Propellus supports nonprofit organizations by connecting them to people and resources so they can achieve their missions. Through the VolunteerConnector digital platform and Alberta-wide collaborations, Propellus connects people in the community to volunteer opportunities and supports nonprofit organizations through a variety of partnerships.

VolunteerConnector is the provincial volunteer matching site for Alberta and is a simple, affordable digital platform to engage volunteers. Postings include detailed information to help volunteers find the perfect fit – helping build caring communities by connecting people and causes with opportunities to effect positive change.

Imagine Canada supports and strengthens charities and nonprofits so they can, in turn, support the Canadians and communities they serve. Through their Sector Source project, Imagine Canada provides a single location for charities and nonprofits to access selected professional material about managing, developing and overseeing their organizations.

CharityVillage is a unique online nonprofit community, based on relationship-building, sharing, and collaboration – characteristics that underpin the sector. The CharityVillage Knowledge Centre is where you can find free resources to help guide your organization in successful volunteer engagement, along with other industry news.


 

Canada’s Volunteer Awards
