Membership
Calgary and area’s voluntary sector, comprised of over 5,000 charities and nonprofits, is clearly an active, committed and significant force in shaping our daily lives. When these organizations and their supporters come together as members in an organization committed to strengthening, supporting and raising awareness of their contributions and challenges, the community as a whole benefits.
We invite you to join CCVO and support the activities we carry out that support your work: undertaking research, raising awareness, developing resources and programs, building relationships with government and business and increasing connections between organizations.
CCVO provides a number of direct member benefits:
- Magnify your influence as you join sector colleagues as part of a collective voice for charities and nonprofits;
- Save costs through 30% member discounts at our popular workshops, communities of practice sessions and seminars;
- Receive free and discounted postings to the online job centre;
- Receive hard copies of CCVO’s studies, toolkits and In Briefs;
- Meet and network with colleagues at New Member Breakfasts;
- Receive discounted subscriptions to the Nonprofit Quarterly;
- Attend member-only events and vote at the CCVO annual general meeting.
CCVO is dynamic organization. As it continues to respond to the changing needs of the sector, our research agenda, website and programs are continuously being refined based on feedback from our members and other areas of the voluntary sector.
