The Calgary Chamber of Voluntary Organizations (CCVO) and our Edmonton counterpart (ECVO) are pleased to announce that the first draft of a workforce strategy for the nonprofit/voluntary sector in Alberta is complete. The draft strategy is now being reviewed  and revised, based on the feedback received. We plan to release the updated strategy in fall 2007.

This strategy has been developed over the last six months with input from a wide variety of organizations, and in conjunction with Alberta Employment, Immigration and Industry. This strategy is not meant to replace existing work that is underway – rather it is meant to support and expand on good ideas and help coordinate efforts.
