Pro Bono Legal Work: University of Calgary Faculty of Law
Pro-Bono Students Canada at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law provides free legal assistance to charities and nonprofits. Law students who are interested in doing volunteer work are matched with non-profit agencies, government organizations and other public interest organizations. Volunteer Lawyers Service
The Volunteer Lawyer Service (VLS) assists eligible non-partisan charitable organizations in obtaining pro bono legal services that would otherwise be unavailable to them due to a lack of financial resources. The VLS is an initiative of the United Way of Calgary and Area, the Canadian Bar Association Alberta, the Law Society of Alberta, and the Association of General Counsel of Alberta.
