HR Council for the Voluntary Nonprofit Sector Releases Human Resources Management Standards

In June, CCVO hosted The HR Council for the Voluntary Nonprofit Sector to present its newly developed Human Resources Management Standards which provides organizations with guidelines for best practices in HR. The intention of the standards is to inspire, educate and support board members, managers and employees with regard to the fundamental role HR Management policies and practices have in creating effective organizations. The HR Management Standards includes a self assessment tool which will highlight the areas that an organization needs to focus its efforts in.
