Federal Government Passes Budget Act

On July 12, the Senate passed the Jobs and Economic Growth Act, which implements many elements of Budget 2010 and includes changes to the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, private pension plan regulations, and tax changes related to the Universal Child Care Benefit, among others.
