Developing a Social Enterprise?

The Calgary Foundation, in partnership with Social Venture Partners Calgary, is undertaking a project to help strengthen nonprofits through social enterprise development. This project includes a six-month pilot program to provide guidance and expertise, at no cost, to several nonprofits to help them launch their social enterprise successfully. Participating nonprofits will be connected to potential sources of financing. To be eligible for the pilot project, nonprofits must have a clearly defined social enterprise concept and a Board that is committed to moving ahead.
