There are numerous reports on the severity and scope of the H1N1 virus that make it difficult to know how organizations should react and prepare. Although there may be no reason for alarm, it is a good idea to be aware of what's going on and to create a basic plan that will prepare your organization for a possible pandemic. On August 27th, The Calgary HR Initiative hosted an informal brown bag lunch session to facilitate the sharing of information on how nonprofit organizations are planning to manage this potentially serious situation.
