CCVO Promotes Careers in Nonprofits

CCVO was at the University of Calgary on Monday, Jan. 23 to promote careers in the nonprofit sector at the Health and Social Services career fair. We featured a live and interactive display of the CCVO Nonprofit Job Centre which allowed the students to sit down and take a look at the over 70 job opportunities posted that day. We were thrilled to find out that a lot of the students as well as the University of Calgary Student Success Centre already use the CCVO Nonprofit Job Centre as one of their job search and career planning tools. CCVO will continue participating in Career Fairs around Calgary to promote nonprofit job opportunities. Our next appearance will be at the Mount Royal University Career Fair on March 7.
