CCVO Economic Survey Attracts Media Attention

CCVO’s November release of Stretched to the Limit: An Economic Impact Survey received tremendous local, provincial and national media coverage. It was a great opportunity to promote the nonprofit and voluntary sector and to address many of the issues organizations face as a result of the economic downturn.

Locally, the story was picked up by the Calgary Herald, CTV and Global Television. Katherine van Kooy was also interviewed by QR77 and CBC Radio. A number of other local stations picked up the story. Provincially, Katherine was interviewed on the Dave Rutherford Show for a full 20-minute segment. Nationally, Global National ran a story by reporter Francis Silvaggio.
