The Calgary HR Initiative is partnering with Viable Calgary to develop a Workforce Inclusion Plan for Calgary’s Nonprofit Sector. Viable Calgary is a workforce initiative focused on increasing the engagement of employees with disabilities in the workforce. In the face of a changing – and aging – labour force, organizations will need to be looking to non-traditional labour sources in order to meet their workforce needs. In early fall, we will be hosting a  focus group on hiring persons with disabilities and producing a Workforce Inclusion Plan in late fall. The plan will assist nonprofit organizations with developing inclusion and accommodation strategies for employees with disabilities. Stay tuned for more information.
