Membership in CCVO is open to a wide range of organizations and individuals that share a common commitment to strengthening the voluntary sector in Calgary including charities, nonprofit and community-based organizations, government, businesses and individuals. CCVO's voting members come from a variety of areas across the voluntary sector:

Arts and Culture
Environment
Sports and Recreation
Community Development
Education
International Development
Philanthropy
Spirituality
Youth
Seniors

Memberships are also welcome from the government and business sectors.

Membership Types

Voting membership - is limited to registered charities and nonprofit organizations

Associate membership - is open to all other types of organizations

Sustaining membership - is open to those voting or associate members who wish to support CCVO of $1000 or over

Membership Fees

CCVO is open to organizations of all sizes and the fee structure makes it possible for even very small organizations to join. We offer a one-time 50% reduction Welcome Rate to members to use during any year of membership.

Voting Membership fees:

$50 (operating budget less than $500k)

$250 (operating budget $500k - $1.5m)

$500 (operating budget over $1.5m)

Associate Member fees:

$100

Sustaining Member fees:

$1000, $5000, $10,000 and up
