Joining the CCVO
is an opportunity to contribute to strengthening
the voluntary sector. Together with our members,
the CCVO is working to build a stronger community
by strengthening charities and non-profit organizations.
This work takes research, the development of resources
and programs, and dialogue and collaboration between
the voluntary and with government and the private sector.
Support for the CCVO also ensures there is a forum in Calgary to address issues, voice concerns and provide input on policy issues important to the voluntary sector. CCVO provides a number of member benefits including:
- early notice of emerging trends,
- ideas, information and resources - timely access on relevant issues that will help your organization, and
- opportunities to network and collaborate with peers.
The
CCVO is an emerging organization. The research
agenda, website and programs are being refined based on feedback from our members and other areas of the voluntary sector. |
