On September 9, CCVO hosted an HR Community of Practice event on “Transforming Leadership Structure”. Twenty people participated in an intriguing discussion about re-thinking nonprofit organizations and leadership to meet the needs of the future. Mike Grogan provided an overview of the concepts of change as well as the current trends influencing our workforce. The discussion centred around the current characteristics of organizational structure, organizational leadership and leadership skill sets that will be required in the future. This Community of Practice was the first of several discussions the Calgary HR Initiative intends to facilitate on this complex topic.
