CCVO – Share your Story!
Help Build a Portrait of Calgary’s Small and Emerging Community-Based Groups, Nonprofits and Charities
In Alberta, most community-based groups are very small. According to Statistics Canada, two thirds of these groups have operating budgets of less than $100,000 while 40% have budgets under $30,000 and have few, if any, paid staff. Very little else is known about the work and needs of these small groups. CCVO is interested in raising awareness about the contributions made and challenges faced by those who support Calgary’s vitality through participation in grassroots and small not-for-profit and community-based groups. It’s time to share your story! Please contact Robin MacAulay at rmacaulay@calgarycvo.org.
