Important Government News
Community Spirit Program – have your say!
The provincial government released a draft workbook for the Community Spirit Program, a proposed program to match individual donations. You are invited to provide input through an online questionnaire. Questions relate to the types of organizations that would qualify (nonprofits broadly or only registered charities?), and other important considerations. Given the Fund’s potential impact, we urge you to get involved and provide your comments, both on behalf of your organization and as an individual Albertan. Please pass this message on to your networks and ensure you have your say by July 31. Visit the government’s site for the workbook and questionnaire.
