Federal Government Seeking Online Feedback about Grants & Contributions
The Federal Government’s Independent Blue Ribbon Panel on Grants and Contributions has begun online consultations with Canadians that will end on September 15. Alberta Government Seeking Online Feedback from Child Care Operators
Does your organization offer childcare services? The Alberta government is asking employers, including child care operators, for their perspective on where more child care spaces are needed in Alberta and how they could be created. Visit www.child.gov.ab.ca/survey before August 23 to fill out a short online survey.
Wild Rose Seeking Nominees for Stars of Alberta Volunteer Awards
The Wild Rose Foundation is seeking nominations for the Stars of Alberta Volunteer Awards (formerly the Stars of the Millennium Awards). The awards honor extraordinary Albertans whose volunteer contributions and achievements have contributed to the well being of their community and fellow community members. Released in July, the Joint Evaluation of the International Response to the Indian Ocean
Tsunami: Synthesis Report provides valuable information and insight for funders, government and aid agencies working internationally and in disaster and crisis situations. Released by the Tsunami Evaluation Coalition (TEC), the report examines the successes and failures as well as the constraints within which the response occurred between the first eight and 11 months of the response.
