The Calgary Chamber of Voluntary Organizations has released a number of publications that deal with the key issues in Calgary’s voluntary sector. In this section you will find the following types of CCVO Publications:

CCVO Bi-Weekly Email Bulletin  A bi-weekly email bulletin with news, resources and information for and about the voluntary sector.

Annual Report CCVO’s annual report outline much of our work and highlight why it is so important for local nonprofits and communitites.

Research & Studies CCVO has undertaken a number of research projects and studies that address issues such as funding, human resources and the importance of voluntary sector organizations in the community.

In Brief Series A series of short briefing notes that provide a snapshot of timely and relevant information about key issues affecting the sector. The In Brief notes include an analysis of how the issue is expected to affect the sector, how organizations may respond, and where to go for more information.

Newsletters To provide timely and relevant information to the local organizations and others interested in the voluntary sector, CCVO issues quarterly newsletters. The newsletters include updates on CCVO activities, and information about key issues and initiatives in the local, provincial and national voluntary sector. This section includes the most recent issue, along with all past issues.

Media Coverage To educate the broader community about role and perspective of the voluntary sector, CCVO has published a number of opinion editorials in the Calgary Herald newspaper. This section also includes other media coverage of CCVO activities.
