Results of Economic Climate Survey Released

May 2, 2006

Katherine van Kooy, Lynn Eakin and Matthew Kealey present findings from the CCVO research study Taking Stock: Examining the Financing of Nonprofit Community Organizations in Calgary that offers insights into how nonprofit organizations in Calgary are financed.

This issue of the CCVO Newsletter includes an update on the BBB Charity Review Program, Low-Income Transit Passes, and features an article on member organization Calgary Arts Partners in Education Society (CAPES). There is also an update on CCVO's research and a piece on our first Shared Services event.

Introduces the Strength Under Stress report, CCVO staff member Kim Mustard, and the CCVO Online Job Centre. Members profiled include the Bethany Care Centre and Literacy Alberta.
