DAM² Marketing is offering free marketing support through their Marketing Matters program to one nonprofit in North America.

The TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF) is currently encouraging organizations to apply online for funding towards environmental improvement projects such as wildlife rehabilitation, education programs for children and tree planting campaigns.

Pepsi is giving away over a million dollars in grants to support and fund exceptional ideas to help better our community.

Each Spring, Calgary learns provides grants to a maximum of $10,000 for Initiative Projects to research, develop and/or pilot innovative foundational learning opportunities for adult Calgarians. Visit their website for more details and to download the RFP. Proposals are due May 14, 2010.

The McKillop Award for Community Service will present $2,500 to a staff member of a Calgary nonprofit organization in the human services sector. This award acknowledges how the contribution of individuals impacts our community and helps to define our cities character. Nominations are due April 30, 2010.

The Calgary Stampede will be accepting nominations from now until July 30 for the Western Legacy Awards. There are three categories for these awards that recognize exemplary western values of sustained contribution, innovation, and youth.

Nine awards totaling $60,000 are available to give out to nonprofit organizations across Canada. Deadline for submissions is Tuesday, June 15.

A Calgarian is among this year's honourees of the Public Policy Forum's  23rd Annual Testimonial Dinner & Awards. Preston Manning, founder, president and CEO of the Manning Centre for Building Democracy and former leader of the official opposition, will be honoured with three others on April 29 in Toronto.
